He was one of the most popular heroes of the past century - the star of film, television, radio, novels and most of all, comic books. Writer Harlan Ellison once suggested that he was one of five fictitious characters known to every man, woman and child on the planet (along with Robin Hood, Sherlock Holmes, Tarzan and Mickey Mouse). But when Superman died last year, hardly anyone seemed to care.

The Superman who died saving the universe was the same Superman who debuted in the first issue of Action Comics in 1938. Naturally, this would make him Minnesota Iceman past retirement age. Indeed, publisher DC Comics had long explained the agelessness of their super-heroes by revealing that their original heroes (who flourished during World War II) all came from a different universe to the contemporary models. When the younger heroes crossed universes, they would find themselves meeting older, semi-retired versions of themselves.

The original, now-deceased Superman was perhaps the greatest of them all. His sales were more consistently high (in the days before every kid had the internet, an XBox, or even a television set), and he started the legend. But he was already old in 1985, when DC decided that he and his wife, Lois Lane, should retire to a place of no return.

All would have been fine - except that 20 years later, DC decided that he should return anyway, in a series called Infinite Crisis. In this Pop Rocks series, in which several DC heroes and villains suffered hideous deaths, the first Superman died heroically... and comic-book fans didn't seem to care.

Why did a hero of this calibre attract such a muted reaction upon his demise? Partly because super-heroes die all the time - and often, they return. The resulting story, "The Death of Superman", broke comic-book sales records. Within months, however, Superman had been resurrected by Kryptonian technology. Nobody really thought he was dead.

Anyone who watches soap operas might be aware that characters often return to life in various creative ways. In the fantasy world of super-heroes, however, writers can be even more imaginative. In the past, we have discovered that heroes (and villains) have not died as assumed, but had been replaced by androids, clone or cosmic beings. It has been revealed that they had a secret super-power that restored their life, or that they teleported away just in time. E-mail has become one of the most common methods of business and personal communication. Its fast, efficient, convenientand it can be dangerous. Consider these tips for getting the maximum benefit while avoiding the pitfalls of e-mail, whether youre at work or home.

o E-mail is not private. Dont forward messages or attachments without permission. Dont forward chain letters. Dont send or forward e-mails that contain libelous, defamatory, offensive, racist, sexist, or obscene comments.

o Before you hit send, be sure your message is complete and is going to the right person. Sending a blank or incomplete message can be embarrassing or worse. For e-mails you originate, make the address the last thing you dothat way, the message cant be sent until youre ready. For replies, take care not to hit the send button prematurely. And always check to make sure the address is accurate. o Include a subject line appropriate for your message. Focus on one issue per e-mail and make it clear in your subject line so the recipient can find your message quickly and will know what its about.

o Use a signature line with your full name, title, and contact information in case the person youre e-mailing wants to contact you by a means other than e-mail. Include links to your website and blog if you have one. A very, very brief marketing message is also acceptable.

Todd Bentley Answers Critics

I have been Watching Todd on God.tv and I realize that he has started to slowly address issues that have been raised concerning the revival that is breaking out in Lakeland.
Shaking as referenced by Bob Jones in one of the meetings tops the list. If i remember properly, Bob mentioned that the shaking is clockwise, reflecting the power of Oregon Lemon Laws Spider-Man cartoon anti-clockwise would reflect the power of Saturn. I have read this over the net that this is similar to the believe system of the new age movement who believe in using pendulum to release positive energy. Many have also argued that this kind of explanation is unprecedented in the word of God.
Todd response was to dismiss this, and to rebuke those behind the criticisms, saying that he is all out for God and he is prepared to shake if that what it takes to birth revival. God is well able to shake people, but i would be reluctant to limit the move of God to some shaking manifestation. Todd is limiting Gods presence to the shaking. Probably its Bob Jones who needs to explain what he meant rather than bog down Todd from doing what he feels to have been called to, which looks different to many.
Todd also responded to those that are arguing that this move is different and does not fit into traditional revival expectations. He based his arguments on Peter, who recognized Jesus while others thought He was a Ghost. Reproduction is a natural part of life. Along with survival, reproduction is an organisms main underlying objective. And our primary instinct to survive may very well be solely for the purpose of providing us with the chance to reproduce. From apes to lions to dogs, several mammalian species exhibit their tendency to form harems. In this context, when I refer to harems, I mean animal polygyny, or a male having more than one female partner at the same time. Monogamy is rare among mammals; only 3% of species are monogamous. And polyandry, the inverse of polygyny, in which a female has a harem of males, is almost non-existent among mammals and humans. The majority of male mammals will attempt to seek out and mate with as many females as possible during his lifetime. And the formation of harems comes about as dominant or alpha males obtain a batch of female mates. Other less-dominant males may sometimes have the opportunity to mate with one female, and the rest may not even have that much of a chance at all. Polygyny is the most common mating system among animal species that exhibit sexual dimorphism, in which males (in comparison with females) are more colorful, larger, more aggressive, better equipped for fighting, provide less care contribution or no care at all for offspring, and have more delayed sexual maturity. Some of these characteristics contribute to a males level of attraction, defense and fighting abilities, and chance of reproduction.
Physical attraction is by far the most common and important factor for most animals in choosing their prospective mate. Beauty is typically not overlooked in the animal kingdom, and an animals colors, size, physique, and other physical features are main determinants in attracting a member of the opposite sex. These characteristics usually display an animals state of health, and so an attractive animal oftentimes means a healthy animal. And thus, a potential partner will want to mate with a good-looking, strong, and potentially healthy counterpart in order to ensure the survival and good health of their offspring. In other words, Mother Nature imbedded within us this instinct of pursuing attractive partners in order to ensure the passing of strong, healthy, and surviving genes.
Defense and fighting abilities are other deciding factors for males. A strong, healthy, and aggressive male has the potential to ensure that his genetic lineage and offspring can survive. A males aggression and fighting abilities can ward off potential enemies and other competing males, and at the same time, attract potential female partners and defend his tribe.
The naturally innate instinct and yearn to reproduce and a males aggressive tendencies can sometimes lead to forceful mating if the female is not in heat or does not like the particular male. This forceful mating is sometimes observed among animals, and is usually committed by a subordinate or non-alpha male. In such instances, the female will struggle to get away and sometimes fight back. If you look at these cases naturally, there are two legitimate sides. On the males side, he is only following the instinctive yearn to reproduce and may lack the ability to persuade the female by non-violent means, so he forcefully mates with the female in order to pass on his genes. The female, on the other hand, apart from being coerced into mating and unable to decline, may have underlying biological reasons as to why she is rejecting the male. She may be rejecting the male due to undesirable traits the male may have, which she is instinctively doing to ensure that her offspring do not inherit the males undesirable traits. And so the female will struggle and possibly fight back in order to escape the forceful mating. However, even if she doesnt escape, her struggle and extreme dislike for mating with the male may work to her advantage by resulting in an unsuccessful conception. But in the wild, should the female have been near her alpha male (if she had one), perhaps this forceful mating would have been avoided.
Humans refer to this forceful mating as rape. Although quite natural in the wild, civilization views it as a crime. Though a homosexual couple is not physically able to reproduce, homosexuals still have reproduction in mind, as I mentioned earlier that the instinct to reproduce is present in all. Male penguin couples have been documented to mate for life, build nests together, and to use a stone as a surrogate egg in nesting and brooding. Apparently the zoo keepers felt sorry for the gay penguins, so they replaced the stone with a fertile egg, which the couple then raised as their own offspring. Homosexual behavior has been linked to genes, specifically the X chromosome (distal region Xq28), and studies also show that its in the brain with documented size differences in hypothalamus neurons. There is a very high probability that sexual orientation is in the brain, in the genes, and can be inherited. However, having the genetic factor doesnt necessarily mean that a person is born gay. So is it nature or nurture that makes one gay? Thats where the big question comes in, when does a person become gay? Did it happen during the prenatal period, neonatal period, childhood, puberty, or when? Were homosexuals born that way? Or do homosexuals choose to be that way and/or learn to be that way? Natural selection is the process by which individual organisms with favorable traits are more likely to survive and reproduce than those with unfavorable traits. Natural selection has also been known as survival of the fittest. The world has the resources for an animals survival. All an animal has to do is search for and obtain the resource. The problem is that the worlds resources are scarce. This scarcity factor is what makes life, in a sense, a struggle for existence. In this natural struggle for existence, only the fittest is naturally selected to survive. Apart from being fit, I believe there is also a luck factor. I actually believe that one can potentially live for a significantly much longer time than the average human lifespan (perhaps doubled or several times the average human lifespan today). I think this is possible by using the knowledge we have today regarding health and also incorporating our natural instincts on what should be eaten. And so, old age can gradually be reduced or eliminated as a reason for death. Thats where the luck factor comes in regarding survival. If we have healthy living down to an art, all thats left would be uncontrollable unfortunate events and natural disasters.
And so how do humans fit into all of this? Natural instincts are still imbedded in humans. Physical attraction is still a major determinant in choosing ones mate. However, due to the development and complexities of the human brain, other not-so visually obvious factors are now also taken into account in choosing ones mate. Humans are mammals and also exhibit characteristics of sexual dimorphism in which the male has dominant traits compared to females. And so, naturally, polygyny would be prevalent in human society, with alpha males having harems of females. Alpha males would need to maintain top physical condition in order to retain their dominance. A leader gone soft would face the consequence of being challenged and perhaps being trounced by a younger prospective alpha male. However, civilization has changed this. The rise of religions, specifically Roman Catholicism, has created cheap Prozac social guidelines that have interfered with the laws of nature. Today, anything but strict monogamy is frowned upon in most cultures. People today are brought up to view philandering as unacceptable in most societies, when in fact, its quite natural and instinctive for mammalian males to mate with several different females. A mammalian males tendency to mate with a variety of different females is to ensure that he produces a variety of offspring, which apart from increasing his genes survival in the human gene pool, it also increases the chance that a higher percentage of his diverse offspring will survive and pass on the genetic lineage. And before civilization, due to the prolonged period that an offspring remains in the womb, the long period of time before a mammal matures, and the chance that it may not survive before getting the chance to reproduce, it is only natural that males have the imbedded instinct to mate with as many females as possible as to ensure that not only his genes have a larger percentage in the human gene pool but also to ensure that the human race goes on to survive. Today, this is not the case. It is not an issue anymore that the human population may be diminishing. The issue is that the human population is growing out of proportion. Not only that, natural selection is no more. People today no longer have to worry about being fit in order to survive as civilization has gotten rid of that need. Humans have cheated the laws of nature. Humans no longer have to search for and obtain food. In fact, today, humans can even make food. Todays need-to-have resource is an artificial creation--money. Fit people, fat people, good-looking people, ugly people, healthy people, and sickly people all strive and struggle to earn money. People no longer search for food, they search for money. It is how people obtain power and it is the new way to exert dominance. It is no longer a struggle for existence. Theres a very high chance you will survive. Civilizations artificial selection occurs on how much money you can earn.
It is not about whether you will live to reproduce (as thats basically a given, if you want to reproduce), but whether you will live rich or whether you will live poor. Having disregarded the need to focus on the basic instincts, and having multiplied so much and so rapidly, humans have shifted their focus to civilizations concerns, which include politics, government, social systems and functions, intra and international relations, religion, and whatnot. And when you have an out of proportion human population (or any population), you are going to have problems. Perhaps this is how Mother Nature prevents cheaters from ever succeeding. Now with such a large and ever-increasing human population, it is inevitable for humans to have conflicts. Most problems arise from man-made creations, such as religion. But essentially, the most major of conflicts originate from scarcity. As I have said, the Earths natural resources are limited. And when resources are running out, people will fight over it. Their instinct of searching for and obtaining resources and also their instinct of survival will kick in. If nothing is done about it, humans, who have long been trying to cheat the laws of nature, will end up killing themselves because of the very instincts they have been trying to morph, alter, and forget. Unfortunately, with their man-made creations, not only will humans kill themselves, they may even permanently destroy all other species and the whole world along with them.

Indeed this frustration is a normal and healthy response to the constrictions one is experiencing. It along with the desire to feel and be free and expansive are the driving forces that lead one to seeking a way to freedom.
What is the source of this unconsciously held programming?
Well, as I'm sure you have already guessed it is the sum total of one's early life experiences that are "stored" as memories in one's mind and body. This "movie" called one's "Life History" IS the programming.
Yet many of us are so identified with it as "who we are" we can't seem to get away from it.
Well that's like saying that the straight jacket one might be wearing is "who they are" or you saying that the software stored in your computer "is what the computer itself consists of".
Now does that make sense? Hardly!
Yet there are also deep and almost immutable beliefs one holds that this "software" IS who they are because, as some of you might venture, "Who would I be without my life history"?
Well the constricting programming is not who you are. You can see this if you simply take a moment to reflect on the following.
For instance:
1. Does it feel like you're in control of it or that it is in control of you?
I'm sure you'll recognize that the latter is the case.
2. Does it feel like you designed this software to constrict yourself with?
Hardly! Why would anyone want such a fate?
3. Can you stand back and see it as something that is other than your deepest self?
Of course, as is evident by your ability to recognize it, talk about it and have feelings about it. You also "know" deep inside you that it is "not" desirable. This ability to "say" that it is not desirable is clear indication that "it" and "you" are distinctly different entities!
So, if you're with me so far you might be wondering how one can become free of this programming.
If you're up for the challenge it entails beginning to question the very "fact", as some call it, that "you are your life history".

The Reflux / Asthma Connection

Most babies and kids with reflux will have typical symptoms of reflux (spitting up or Miranda excessive crying and irritability, etc) but some do not express any outward symptoms. They are referred to as having silent reflux. Their only symptom may then become asthma and many doctors may not realize the link between reflux and asthma so the reflux never gets diagnosed or treated. The child's asthma can then be difficult to control with the normal medications.
How Does Reflux Make Asthma Worse?
One possible reason is the acid that comes up the esophagus can enter the airways, especially when lying down. This acidic refluxate can cause the airways to narrow and create the wheezing and shortness of breath associated with asthma. Over time, this refluxate can also damage the airways worsening asthma symptoms. Another possibility is acid reaching the lower part of the esophagus can stimulate nerve endings causing the muscle in the airways to contract, narrowing breathing tubes. This can be perceived as a shortness of breath.
How Do I Know If The Asthma Is Reflux-Induced?
Some indications that asthma could be caused by reflux are:
*The asthma symptoms get worse after eating, particularly high fat foods
*Asthma like symptoms appearing with any other typical or atypical symptoms of reflux
*Persistent cough, especially worse when lying down
It's important to remember that not all reflux will present typical symptoms. In some cases the only symptom could be the presence of asthma.
How Is Reflux Induced Asthma Treated?
Treating reflux induced asthma may be as simple as treating the reflux itself. Hitting the trails in Canada is practically a national pastime. From glaciers to plunging valleys to raging rivers, Canada is not for the meek, but is something you will never forget.

One such trail is the Baden Powell Trail, located in the district of North Vancouver. orthoevra trail, which spans 41 km (25.5 miles), runs from Burrard Inlet in Deep Cove to Horseshoe Bay in West Vancouver. One section of the trail, known as the District section, comprises a 10 hour hike starting at Grouse Mountain Resort and going eastward to Panorama Drive in Deep Cove. Other entry points to the Baden Powell Trail allow for shorter hikes as well, such as the starting points in Lynn Canyon Park and Skyline Road.
Another trail in the same area of British Columbia that provides great hiking is the West Coast Trail on Vancouver Island. This trail, one of several on the island, is 47 miles of wilderness that's perfect for the experienced backpacker. The rainforest area here was cleared in 1906, and the West Coast Trail was originally created to make a refuge for mariners who could become shipwrecked along the beach. The area around Vancouver Island was once known as the Graveyard of the Pacific for its dangerous coastline. Now, it's still important to carry maps and tide tables with you when in this area, as it can become unsafe at times. Waterfalls, caves, and other natural formations are all along this trail, making it great for those who enjoy the beauty of nature.
Trekking in Canada is a great way to enjoy the wilderness and beauty of this unspoiled country. There are many different types of trails and camping grounds throughout the country, and one can choose where to visit based on the type of hiking and other outdoor activities they're interested in. A Million Little Truths: One Good Horse, a memoir by Tom Groneburg

Memoir, of course, is a venerable genre. Its on line car insurance around a while. The

he was writing about himself. Heres what I saw, heres what I felt.
Judging by recent headlines, however, the breed is in the midst of taking
a beating. Poor James Frey in his million little maligned pieces, the
latest bad-assed spoiled rich kid to bleed all the way to the bank. What
is it about telling our own story that makes us want to
oversensationalize, inflate our own egos with endless puffs of hot air?
Augusten Burroughs, running with the scissors that his foster family
swears up and down were fabrications. Is it insecurity? Maybe our own
lives really arent that important. Even here in Montana, Judy Blunt
probably should have thought twice before writing that scene about her
father-in-law going after her typewriter with a sledgehammer.
In this cynical atmosphere, the new memoir by Tom Groneberg, One
Good Horse, (Scribner, $24) is a kind of palliative. Its like running into a
buddy you havent seen for a while, arguing about who can buy the first
round. Ostensibly the story of a novice cowboys first foray into horse
training, its rather more the portrait of a life, a cross-section of the
quotidian struggles that make up the human condition. Like another
instant Montana classic of memoir, Fred Haefeles Rebuilding the
Indian, Groneberg uses his Wafaoeffrdsw armature, his horse training, as an
entre into considerably larger issues. For instance: What does it mean
to be a father, a husband, a friend? What are the duties that we bring to
our lives, and what are our rewards?
I think, perhaps for the first time, that I should have Car insurance price quote own horse. If I
walked out into a pasture with a halter, it would nicker and trot toward
me. I wouldnt have to decide which horse to saddle, which animal to
trust. If I had a good horse, I could give it my life. I could ride it for years.
We could grow old together. Then I would give it to Carter [his son]. His

him.
Superficially, its true that the average, page-flipping and blurb-reading
browser might waffle over One Good Horse. The veneer of it is all about
karaoke bars and job hunting, mornings spent feeding out bales of hay
and an evening or two with the in-laws. Dig a little deeper, though, and
you come to see, within these familiar totems, compelling reductions of
all our days. As opposed to the over-sensationalized, truth-hedging
memoirs that now top the bestseller list, Gronebergs narrative quietly
communicates a real sense of generosity, a vision of simply doing the
best you can, making a hand out of the cards youve been dealt. It is,
more than anything else, a calm meditation on relationships: A man to
his horse, his friends, his family, his community.
Still in the midst of resetting his dials after losing both his ranch and then
his job, he writes, Maybe I can get a colt and remember what it is I love
about being out in the west. The pieces of my life will fall into place
again and everything will make sense. Shortly thereafter, he comes
across another memoir, Teddy Blue Abbotts We Pointed Them North.
One of the tent poles of Montanas literary canon, Groneberg uses
WPTN as a counterpoint, describing its narrative to us in pieces, subtly
couching his own experiences in the larger, historical context of Teddy
Blues example. Groneberg aspires to being a cowboy in a long line of
cowboys, a writer in an established tradition of western writers, and
Teddy Blue gives him a place to hitch his figurative horse. What cant
be reclaimed is the hole in my story, the empty space on that line that
used to read cowboy or ranch hand or man with horse. I need a new
story.
And so weve begun with these two narratives threads, first one and
then the other Gronebergs horse training, and now Teddy Blues tale.
Were shortly given a third: The premature birth of Gronebergs twin
sons. I phone grandparents and deliver the news. Carter watches
cartoons. Jennifer nods off. Time disappears. In the tiny kitchen across
the hall from Jennifers room, I raid the refrigerator for little packs of
chocolate pudding, cups of ice chips, half-sized cans of lemon-lime
soda and ginger ale. Just before dinner, I scrub my hands and put on
another gown and visit the boys again. Someone has taped a Passthesyrup over
each isolette, one reading Avery, the other Bennett. This is me, I think.
This is my life.
The pediatrician, a confident doctor, reassuring, with short strawberry
blond hair and a warm smile, says, Id like to do some tests on Avery.
She explains that there is a particular crease in his palm that she is
concerned about, and that his ears seem to be set a little low on his
face. As privileged readers, we discover, together with Groneberg and
his wife, that their beautiful new son has been born with Down
syndrome. Jennifer and I hold each other and we cry. We grieve for
Avery, for his future. Or maybe our sadness is for ourselves, for the loss
of who we thought we were. We thought it didnt matter, this notion of
perfect children. At less than a week old, Avery has been labeled,
limited, his life foreclosed on, his future told by a crease in his tiny palm.
It is a measure of the strength muscling through Gronebergs
deceptively simple prose that our hearts break right along with theirs.
In tackling memoir, its not enough to say that one has simply lived, that
you were here next door, microwaving leftovers and filling parking
spaces. You're asking a complete stranger to spend time with your life,
after all; you need to convince them that something here is important.
Fame does the trick, la Bill and Hillary Clinton, George Carlin.
Travelogues have wheels as well (although less so now than before,
what with all the deserts having already been explored). Harrowing
experiences (drugs, sexual abuse) and professional expertise both
usually suffice. But it is, to my mind, much more difficult to write a
compelling story out of the bare bones of the unexceptional. Here is a
view of the world from where Im standing, and its one Id like to share.
A slim enough book (considering the roiling issues in the subtext), and
conversational, adept in its voice, One Good Horse is finally that rarest
of literary creations: Its true.

Recently a semi conductor client of mine wanted to move one customer's (A) production from one facility to another in order to make room for another customer's (B) production. And to make matters worse A's unit price would go up because the standard fab was older and more labor intensive.

So we strategized about getting a meeting with the GM and what questions to ask when they met him.

So knowing this my client's people went back and came up with a plan to guarantee "A" his capacity in return for paying the tooling changes and incurring a higher unit cost. De-Cluttering Your Space Means De-Cluttering Your Life

I am so excited about this article. I hope you will be too. I had an epiphany (my favorite word) a few months ago when I tried Equity loan move into a new apartment. I needed space. There was so much going on in my house. There were too many large pieces of furniture, loads of paper that needed to be filed, file folders that needed to be put in the cabinet, etc.. Then there was my kitchen: There were plates that needed to be put away. Recipes that needed to be filed, Tupperware that needed to be matched, pots that needed to be put in the pantry and so on. My room? There was my large computer and the bed, my exercise equipment and exercise ball. My books...tons of books and my favorite rocking chair. I also have clothes for days.
For the past several months, I have been experiencing major writer's block. I could not concentrate on my book, or my articles. I was only able to follow up with my blog. That requires little or no thinking. Something like my book, which has a deadline, I could not focus on. You want to know why? I had too much stuff in my immediate space that I feel subconsciously, made it so that I did not want to be in that place/space. I had to do something. I started with my living room. I threw out the furniture ( Goodwill people did not want to come get it, they wanted me to bring it and Salvation Army sent two guys, Ironmancomics over 6 feet and 180 pounds, that claimed the couches were too heavy). But I digress.
Immediately, I had more living space. There was a new energy in my living room area. I had since decided that I wanted a single couch in my living room and a table. None of this sofa-love-seat nonsense. I needed to Zen my space, so-to-speak.
This is what I am finding as I de-clutter my house.
1) I am able to organize my life more, now that I have more space.
2) I tend to procrastinate less. I see Mystery Date in Toioetrjsgc of me, the things I need to do right away.
3) I now deal with the things I really need versus what I think I need (old junk)
4) My creativity, as far as my writing goes is back on point. I feel my thoughts are flowing more because I am more able to focus on my thoughts than the junk that used to be around me.
How do you start to get the junk out the way? I have 5 steps for you
1)Just make the decision to do so and commit to it.
2) Take care of it in bits. I suggest one part of the house at a time. I am only done with my living room. You did not create that clutter in one day, you are not going to fix it in a day either. One part of the house at a time makes it more feasible.
3) Know where you want the stuff to go, by the time it's all said and done. Deal with the most cluttered part first. When you start to see progress, you will feel good about completing the de-cluttering project, in my opinion.
4) For everything you decide to keep, make sure there is a real reason or a real purpose that it serves. Don't keep things that have emotional value/sentiment to you? Its not enough reason! Get rid of it.
5) Keep up the work. Try to put everything back in place each time you take something out of its place.

My wife and I watched the movie Juno last night, and I highly recommend it for your own viewing. It will be interesting to look back on this moment in time and see if anyone in the future can figure any of it out, or maybe they'll say, "Wassup with that?"

Behind every tattoo, Daredevil lies a story. Whether it is good or bad, it is a personal story that only the bearer of the artwork can distribute. It is still awkward when wanting to display your tattoos, since there are still connotations trying to link tattoos with unscrupulous people.
My stepfather passed away in 1994. This left my mother numb, and searching for anything to alleviate such numbness. Therefore, at the age of forty-four, my mother got her first tattoo. It was a flower-entwined design of thorns and roses, which signified the good times (roses) and the more horrible moments (thorns) of her lifetime. For her, it took the numbness away, and made her realize she could still feel. I, myself, also received my first tattoo with her. I was twenty-one, and at a very self-hating point in my life. I have always been told how beautiful I was, but like many insecure young women my age I did not believe it.
So, what better way to feel beautiful, than to put a picture of beauty on myself? I chose a fairy a passionate-looking woman who was not only nude, but also stood upon a rose wings unfurled. Better yet, the tattoo looks like a butterfly from further away. The next time I got a tattoo, I wanted another fairy. However, I could not find Oregon Lemon Laws etching that I liked. Luckily, one of the tattoo artists happened to be a graduate of The Art Institute of Chicago (I grew up in a suburb of the Chicagoland area).

She, too, is a nude fairy, but all of the bits are covered very artistically. I once had a six-year-old student of mine point it out, exclaiming, Eww she s naked! Later, my co-teacher pulled me aside and commented, I love the fact you pointed out that a tattoo is art!
You do not need a book to tell you what a tattoo means to you. The total tattoo art experience comes from within you. I no longer feel the same way I once did. A decade of life experiences has given me the self-confidence I was once deficient. However, for the time I lacked the self-esteem to adore myself, I let my tattoos do the talking for me. I still love both of my tattoos, and sometimes wonder if there are any more tattoos in my future. Rest assured I would have a story behind the next one as well!

It's like your ex doesn't want people close to him or her to know that the two of you are "back together".
6. He or she spends more time hanging out with friends than he or she spends with you.
7. You never really talk about "us". Most of your communication is in "I" or "you" and not much "we" -- except when you are disagreeing on something.
8. You are supporting your ex financially -- money, accommodation, bills and you pay for most of your dates etc.
These are very strong signs that should tell you that you are being used. But don't jump at straws --it will only send your mind into a loop. Ask your ex what the real deal is.
There is a possibility that your ex is:
1) Just testing you to see if he or she can once again trust you with his or her heart;
2) Is confused about your change, may be or she didn't expect you to be different (totally loving person) from the person he or she broke up with in the first place;
3) Feeling that things are happening too soon and too quickly for him or her;
4) Still wants to be friends and maybe have something later on in the future.
5) Needs your financial support until he or she can get on his or her own feet (that is if at all they've ever been on their two feet without leaning on someone else).
BUT there is also that possibility that your ex is using you and stringing you along.
You'll never know if you don't find out -- by asking the right way.
There isn't that much of an incremental risk in terms of rejection pain anyway. If anything it will clarify where things actually stand, and help you move forward one way or another from the confusing place where you are now.
